NJDA Golf Classic Celebrates its Silver Anniversary at Deal Golf & Country Club
25 years ago, NJDA members and their guests gathered at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club to launch the first NJDA Golf Classic. This year, the tradition continues as we celebrate the Silver Anniversary of the event with many new and exciting surprises for our golfers.
Deal Golf & Country Club (DCG) is one of the oldest golf courses in New Jersey. It was designed by world-famous course architect Donald Ross, who designed Pinehurst #2, Aronimink, Oakland Hills and Plainfield Country Club, site of the PGA Fed Ex Cup Playoff tournament the Barclay's. DCG also has the oldest continually used club house in New Jersey, built in 1898. The spectacular clubhouse has recently undergone a $7 million facelift including the addition of a brand new locker room. The "wow" factor is alive and well in this Jersey Shore gem.
Our Monday, August 13, 2012 date gives us use of the entire course without competing for time with club members.
As usual, the signature of our outing is the spectacular prize table and, once again, we will not disappoint. Additionally, some new prize packages, door prizes and a golf-centric silent auction will amaze even the most astute golfers. So, download and complete your registration for the outing and if you are a business partner of the NJDA, consider pairing your golf with a sponsorship to show our dentists that you support the Association.
We hope to see you there on Monday, August 13, 2012, at Deal Golf & Country Club.
