Dental Benefits & Managed Care Assistance

NJDA has knowledgeable, experienced staff solely dedicated to helping you understand third-party payment programs or managed care contracting.

Legal Assistance & Advice

NJDA offers members access to two attorneys with more than 40 combined years of experience in interpreting the Dental Practice Act and other laws and regulations affecting business practices.


Employment Exchange Program (EEP)

The EEP enables members to search for qualified dentists, RDAs, RDHs, and recent dental assistant graduates. This online program is available 24/7/365 via NJDA.org and has options such as total confidentiality, and search criteria by practice type and location.
 

ENHANCING YOUR DENTAL RESUME AND CAREER

Volunteer Opportunities

Member volunteers staff the many councils and committees that direct Association staff to implement policy, organize and participate in community and professional events, and generally assist members.  The volunteer efforts give you a direct opportunity to affect the practice of dentistry in New Jersey.

Low-Cost Education Opportunities

NJDA offers training seminars, business practice and scientific courses. Instructors and speakers are drawn from both NJDA and ADA membership and a national pool of renowned lecturers to provide the most relevant and informative presentation to our membership.

 

PROTECTING YOUR RIGHTS

Peer Review

NJDA offers a voluntary peer review program to objectively and expeditiously resolve patient complaints concerning the appropriateness or quality of treatment.  Member dentists may also submit disputes with third-party consultants for review.  All peer review matters are strictly confidential.

Political and Regulatory Advocacy

NJDA, through its governmental affairs office and the New Jersey Dental Political Action Committee (NJDPAC), is one of the most respected and effective voices in New Jersey.  NJDA works hard to ensure that dentistry is at the table when lawmakers address issues that affect the profession, reviewing more than 8,000 pieces of legislation each session. As one of the largest political action committees in New Jersey, NJDPAC supports candidates for elected offices in New Jersey who support dentistry.
 

PROVIDING VALUABLE INFORMATION

Member Communications

The NJDA’s Journal, website and email Advisories and Alerts keep you constantly updated on the ever-changing dental profession, as well as what your peers are doing around the state. The Journal is the NJDA’s award-winning quarterly magazine that has member-focused and clinical information. NJDA.org is a best-in-class dental society website with a private, password-protected area for members. This members-only area contains information and documents to enhance your experience as a member and a dentist--giving you access to information that non-members do not have. The email Advisories and Alerts immediately inform members on legislative, regulatory and key professional updates as they happen.

Garden State Dental Conference & Expo

Each year, the NJDA hosts the state's largest dental conference. The Garden State Conference keeps our membership abreast of cutting-edge technology and offers an exhibit floor with more than 120 companies that support dentistry with innovative products, supplies and practice management assistance. Additionally, the Conference features more dental-focused CE courses in one place than any other event in New Jersey, incredible social and networking events and world-class accommodations for you and your family. Your registration fee to the convention is included in your membership dues.
