Yoga and mindfulness techniques developed by a dentist-yoga teacher for dental professionals to help prevent or reduce work-related health issues of stress are reviewed in this workshop. The program focuses on fatigue, burn-out, ergonomics, muscular-skeletal problems of neck, shoulder, upper-strength, flexibility, energy, resilience, focus, concentration and productivity. Simple breathing exercises, stretches, movements, postural alignments to practice in office or at home.

Bhagwati Mistry, DDS, MDS
Bhagwati Mistry, DDS, MDS, is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist from Tarrytown, New York. After practicing for 37 years, Dr. Mistry retired from her private practice and is currently certified as a Kripalu Yoga Teacher. She is also certified in areas such as Yoga for Health Professionals, Yoga as Medicine, Yoga for Schools, and Yoga for Anxiety and Depression. Dr. Mistry has held positions such as an American Dental Association Evidence Based Dentistry Champion and a part time faculty member. She is an advocacy leader of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Bhagwati Mistry has presented yoga and wellness workshops at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, Big Apple Meeting, and has also presented for the Queens Dental Association in New York.
