CDC Interim Public Health Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People
On Monday, March 8, 2021, the CDC issued interim public health recommendations for fully vaccinated people. Fully vaccinated is defined as those who are greater than 2 weeks out from receiving their second Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna shot, or the single-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccination. Of significance, fully vaccinated individuals do not have to quarantine or test following a known exposure IF they are asymptomatic. The guidance continues to recommend the use of face masks as well as social distancing and other infection control measures. Review the new recommendations.
