From the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry's Public Session on December 4, 2019: Dec 9, 2019 December 9, 2019 In response to an inquiry, the State Board of Dentistry confirmed that registered dental hygienists are not allowed to practice orofacial myology as a stand-alone practice in New Jersey without the supervision of a DDS/DMD. The New Jersey State Board of Dentistry has proposed numerous amendments to its regulations. Public comments, may be submitted by January 17, 2020.
