As of January 1st, all new or renewed network provider contracts of any carrier doing business in New Jersey must provide a doctor the option of not participating in the carrier’s network leasing arrangements. The carrier must also disclose the other carriers with whom it affiliates, and any carrier leasing a provider network must adhere to the same contract arrangements that the leasing carrier agreed to with the participating dentist.
