A Statement from NJDA President and President-elect on Division of Consumer Affairs Guidelines for Resuming Elective Procedures
Having read the guidelines released this evening, it doesn't appear to deviate from previous communications by the Governor's office and the State Board.
It continues to provide vagueness and confusion to licensees on several fronts. Therefore, we are making a request to meet with the State Board of Dentistry for immediate clarification. If the guidance is not clarified, it may lead to the closure of dental practices, which will result in a devastating loss of access to dental care for all New Jerseyans.
