We are committed to helping you provide care to your patients during this public health emergency. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is key to keeping you, your staff and your patients safe. That’s why, beginning July 1, 2020, CDT code D1999 will be temporarily considered reimbursable for in-network dental professionals for the costs associated with PPE through September 30, 2020, unless extended.
Horizon BCBSNJ will authorize $10 for CDT code D1999 when submitted once per patient, per date of service and per provider.
