With great sadness and profound affection, the NJDA notes the passing of Dr. Gerald Cardinale on Saturday, February 20, 2021 following a short, non-coronavirus related, illness. As a legislator, Gerry was a tireless advocate for the dental profession and the public. Completing the last year of his twelfth term, he was the second longest serving State lawmaker in New Jersey history, representing his constituents for 42 years. He will be greatly missed.
