Looking for Basic Life Support training for you (or staff)
The NJDA has you covered for just $65!
The New Jersey State Board of Dentistry has now mandated 3 HOURS of Basic Life Support Training for healthcare providers (this includes hygienists and licensed assistants) as part of the mandated continuing education courses for licensure renewal.
THIS COURSE MEETS THIS REQUIREMENT.
These 3 hours need to meet the American Heart Association certification standards for healthcare providers. The training must include:
- Use of AED
- Unconscious and conscious choking
- Rescue breathing (which cannot be completed virtually)
We offer a variety of options for CPR training at a very low cost. Continental breakfast included in-person at NJDA Headquarters.
In-Person
This expert-level program helps keep healthcare professionals prepared and ready to respond as they encounter life-threatening emergencies, provide basic life support, and respond to choking and other airway obstruction incidents. ASHI’s BLS - Basic Life Support has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
