Licensure Requirements Series: Practical Applications of the ADA Code of Ethics in a Dental Practice
Course Description:
This lecture will discuss various sections of the ADA Code of Ethics (“ ADA Code”) and how these ethical recommendations should be applied on a daily basis in private practice. The ADA Code mirrors multiple State Board Regulations and Malpractice Laws. The lecture will discuss the interrelations of the ADA Code, State Board Regulations and malpractice law. The lecture will explain techniques to comply with the ADA Code and why compliance with the ADA Code is beneficial to both the patient and dentist. Many lawsuits, State Board complaints and negative online reviews may be avoided or better defended by complying with the ADA Code.
