ANSWER: Create an account on tdicinsurance.com and put the policy on autopay.
The easiest way to pay the bill for your TDIC policy is by creating an online account and putting the policy on autopay. There are also options to pay over the phone or by mail with a check but then you have to remember to continually do that every time the balance is due. There are no extra fees or costs associated with using the autopay feature.

ANSWER: A TDIC Risk Management Analyst.
In order to avoid potential claims, we encourage you to contact our Risk Management team for advice whenever you have any questions or have a dispute with a patient. Consulting with our Risk Managers at the onset and obtain guidance or forms to assist you in resolving disputes, can help avoid having to file a claim in the future.

HOW MUCH DOES THE JAR OF CONFETTI WEIGH?
47.44 oz

ANSWER: When you retire or change insurance companies.
Even with a claims-made policy, there are many ways to avoid ever having to pay for a tail policy. TDIC offers a free tail if you retire or become disabled. Also, if you plan to switch carriers for a reason such as moving to a state we don’t write in, if you have the new carrier pick up your prior acts coverage, there would not be a need to purchase a tail policy. We also offer an Occurrence policy where there is no tail required when cancelling coverage.

HOW MANY CANDY CORNS WERE IN THE JAR?
441

ANSWER: Prior to your first working interview or first date of employment.
It is a common misunderstanding that you need to secure your Professional Liability coverage as soon as you become licensed. Since TDIC offers a $50 policy for the first year and then 2 additional years of large discounts following, we want to be able to extend the discounts as far as we can for you, so it is optimal to wait until you know you are securing employment or have a working interview to begin your coverage. TDIC can issue you proof of coverage with a completed application typically the same day you send the application or within 24 hours at the latest. Be sure to contact your dedicated insurance advisor Adriel Wood to discuss this in more detail.
