NJDA Celebrates 7 Years with AMT and Announces its Latest Dividend for Members
Dear NJDA Members,
We want to thank you for your continued participation in the NJDA Health Plan through Association Member Trust (AMT). As a valued member, you provide your employees with access to a comprehensive suite of benefits, including health, dental, life, and vision programs.
We are pleased to announce that the NJ Dental Subtrust Board of Trustees has approved a dividend return of 1.5% to your participating eligible members. This dividend will be distributed to your employer members who are in good standing as of December 31, 2024, and who also remain active in AMT benefit plans as of February 1, 2025.
In 2024, the NJDA Benefits Subtrust earned more interest income than anticipated, allowing us to share this surplus directly with you. The credit on your February invoice will appear as a 1.5% reduction to that month's healthcare premium.
You will receive a Schedule K-1 from the NJDA Subtrust reporting this distribution. Although this credit will be issued in 2025, it represents the income earned in 2024. Therefore, you should keep the K-1 with your tax records for inclusion on your 2024 returns. If you or your accountant have any questions regarding this matter, please reach out to the AMT accounting department at (973) 379-1090.
We appreciate your continued partnership and support. We look forward to serving you and your employees in the future.
Best Regards,
Araceli Ziemba, DMD
Chair, NJDA AMT Subtrust
