Let's meet another outstanding member of the inaugural class of NJDA Member Recognition Award Recipients. The next member-dentist we’re spotlighting is Dr. Timothy Feeney from the Hudson County Dental Society.

For years, Dr. Timothy Feeney’s commitment to the profession and his peers has made him a respected voice in shaping dental policies and ethical standards. Dr. Feeney’s journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Peter’s College in 1982, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UMDNJ in 1986. Shortly after, in 1988, he and his wife, Dr. Yoska Diaz-Feeney, established their dental practice in Union City, where they have been providing exceptional care to their community ever since.

His dedication extends beyond his practice. Dr. Feeney has been a valued member of the Peer Review Committee since 1999, ensuring that ethical and professional standards are upheld within the field. Since 2002, he has also contributed to the Council on Governmental & Public Affairs, advocating for policies that benefit both dentists and patients.

With a career marked by compassion, advocacy, and community service, Dr. Feeney continues to make a lasting impact on the profession and those around him. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Feeney is a devoted father to Bernard and Sean. He enjoys spending time on Long Beach Island with family and friends, often bringing along packaged goods to share in good company.
