Dr. Antoinette Tauk Installed as NJDA President
The New Jersey Dental Association installed Dr. Antoinette Tauk, a general dentist in North Brunswick, as the organization's 157th President at the Annual House of Delegates Meeting on Saturday, May 2 in Bridgewater, NJ. Dr. Tauk, whose family has roots in Lebanon, is the first NJDA President of Middle Eastern descent.
Joining Dr. Tauk as NJDA Officers for the 2026-27 term are President-Elect Dr. Andrew Dietz, Dr. Maria Ambrosio (Vice President), Dr. Janhavi Rane (Treasurer), and Dr. Ed Tirpack (Secretary).
Dr. Tauk first joined organized dentistry while she was a student at New York University College of Dentistry in 1990. She joined NJDA and the Middlesex County Dental Society in 1999 and has since held numerous leadership positions. She has served on the Peer Review Committee, as Chair of NJDA’s Council on Dental Benefits, as President of the Middlesex County Dental Society (an NJDA component society), and as part of the New Jersey Delegation to the ADA Dentist and Student Lobby Day.
Dr. Tauk graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Biology and received her doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1992. She did a General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, was Chief Resident of Dentistry at Goldwater Memorial Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center, trained in Oral Pathology and Medicine at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, as well as taught at New York University College of Dentistry prior to her move to New Jersey. Dr. Tauk opened her multidisciplinary general and family dental practice in North Brunswick in 1997 and has served the community since that time. Dr. Tauk was recently also a Clinical Associate Professor at Rutgers University College of Dentistry for two years.
Dr. Tauk lives in North Brunswick with her son. When not at work she enjoys exercising, Pilates, swimming, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
