Help Us Turn Dental Benefit Problems Into Action

Sep 18, 2026 by Dr. Kim Goldenbaum, NJDA Council on Dental Benefits Chair
NJDA's Council on Dental Benefits needs to know when you experience a problem with a dental benefit company. We may be able to help plus it allows us to identify trends that could benefit others.

When you experience a problem with a dental benefit company, NJDA needs to know about it.

The Council on Dental Benefits is taking a deliberate approach: listen, document, identify trends, and act. Not every issue will result in a formal complaint to the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, but every member inquiry matters. Your experiences help NJDA identify patterns, document administrative and financial burdens, and demonstrate how dental benefit practices affect dentists, practices, and ultimately the patients who rely on those benefits for care.

Whether the issue involves reimbursement, claims processing, network participation, payment methods, credentialing, or another dental benefit concern, tell us what is happening.

Your inquiry serves two purposes:

It gives NJDA an opportunity to help you.

It helps us build the evidence needed to advocate for broader change.

The more information we receive, the stronger our ability to say: this is happening, this is how often it is happening, and this is how it is affecting New Jersey dentists and their patients.

The Member Inquiry Form is our eyes and ears. Help us build the record—and turn your experience into action.
