Course Description:

This course is designed to review ethical decision making with regard to standards of care. Defining ethics and differentiating between morals and ethics forms for the basis for ethical decision making. Using the ADPIED process of care to adapt individualized treatment plans ensures delivering ethical care. We will discuss scope of practice and its importance to following best practices. Solving ethical dilemmas with ADHA code of ethics as guidelines. The course delves into informed consent, established standards of care and ethical responsibilities.
